Mrs. Natalie Gibbs graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004, with degrees in both music education and English. This is her 8th year of teaching music (5th year at CMS!). Her favorite part of teaching band is getting to have the same students for several years. Band students are the BEST!
Here are 10 facts about Mrs. Gibbs... read carefully before our game! 1. Mrs. Gibbs lives in Christiansburg in an old house with a terribly messy flower garden. She is a lazy gardener and wants to get rid of all the flowers and plant grass and trees (and sweet potatoes) instead! 2. She has a husband and a new baby daughter, Caroline Kate! She was born in April 2011 and has more baby pictures than anyone on the planet. 3. She read the first "Twilight" book but thinks the main character, Bella, desperately needs a hobby. 4. Mrs. Gibbs was a percussionist in her school band and took piano, too. Now, she likes playing all the instruments, especially the UKULELE! 5. Mrs. Gibbs is a photographer in her spare time. She shoots a lot of weddings and portraits. In her next life, she might be a photojournalist and travel the world taking pictures. 6. Mrs. Gibbs is big fan of CHOCOLATE. (Like, a really, reeeeally big fan!) 7. Mrs. Gibbs used to be involved in: dance, track, choir, crisis counseling, and radio DJ-ing. But not all at the same time! 8. Mrs. Gibbs has two new pairs of glasses to wear this year. 9. She hates to wear socks. 10. She is starting her masters degree at Radford University this year!
